Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.19%
Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Pulau Subur Tbk PT (JK:PTPS), which rose 27.06% or 23.00 points to trade at 108.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shield On Service Tbk PT (JK:SOSS) added 25.00% or 135.00 points to end at 675.00 and Bank Permata Tbk (JK:BNLI) was up 24.76% or 255.00 points to 1,285.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which fell 25.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 3.00 at the close. Maming Enam Sembilan Mineral Tbk PT (JK:AKSI) declined 20.95% or 155.00 points to end at 585.00 and Quantum Clovera Investama Tbk PT (JK:KREN) was down 12.50% or 1.00 points to 7.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 378 to 224 and 227 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shield On Service Tbk PT (JK:SOSS) rose to 5-year highs; up 25.00% or 135.00 to 675.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $70.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $74.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 14.50 to trade at $2,734.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.31% to 15,661.90, while AUD/IDR rose 0.03% to 10,371.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 103.88.
