Greece stocks lower at close of trade; Athens General Composite down 0.37%
Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Banking and Household sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.37% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr), which rose 5.49% or 0.15 points to trade at 2.88 at the close. Meanwhile, Quest Holdings (AT:IQTr) added 5.12% or 0.26 points to end at 5.34 and Aegean Airlines (AT:AGNr) was up 1.89% or 0.19 points to 10.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr), which fell 2.78% or 0.26 points to trade at 9.10 at the close. National Bank of Greece SA (AT:NBGr) declined 2.47% or 0.18 points to end at 7.27 and Public Power (AT:DEHr) was down 2.06% or 0.24 points to 11.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 60 to 60 and 19 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.47% or 12.70 to $2,663.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.44% or 1.09 to hit $74.47 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.42% or 1.12 to trade at $77.92 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.22% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 102.98.
