Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.71%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.71%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 8.33% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.26 at the close. Meanwhile, East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321) added 2.03% or 3.00 points to end at 150.60 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (TADAWUL:2150) was up 1.67% or 0.90 points to 54.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310), which fell 5.99% or 0.74 points to trade at 11.62 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) declined 5.44% or 0.86 points to end at 14.94 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) was down 5.34% or 2.60 points to 46.10.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 283 to 27 and 2 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) rose to 52-week highs; rising 8.33% or 0.02 to 0.26. Shares in Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.44% or 0.86 to 14.94. Shares in The National Co for Glass Industrie (TADAWUL:2150) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.67% or 0.90 to 54.90.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.66% or 1.86 to $71.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.37% or 1.74 to hit $75.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 20.00 to trade at $2,670.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.05% to 4.15, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 101.21.
