Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.22%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Industrial Investment and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 9.09% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.24 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) added 7.79% or 3.00 points to end at 41.50 and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) was up 7.61% or 3.20 points to 45.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050), which fell 3.55% or 1.00 points to trade at 27.15 at the close. Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1212) declined 3.10% or 5.20 points to end at 162.80 and United Int Transportation Company (TADAWUL:4260) was down 2.98% or 2.60 points to 84.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 146 to 145 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.09% or 0.02 to 0.24. Shares in Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) rose to 5-year highs; up 7.79% or 3.00 to 41.50. Shares in CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) rose to 5-year highs; rising 7.61% or 3.20 to 45.25.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.26% or 0.86 to $67.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.12% or 0.80 to hit $70.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 16.40 to trade at $2,675.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.48% to 4.16, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 100.92.
