Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Biomed and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which rose 4.86% or 62.00 points to trade at 1,337.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) added 4.67% or 271.00 points to end at 6,080.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was up 3.08% or 87.00 points to 2,908.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.04% or 137.00 points to trade at 6,579.00 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) declined 1.81% or 250.00 points to end at 13,600.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 1.78% or 1,320.00 points to 72,680.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 219 to 215 and 105 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.30% or 0.20 to $65.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.19% or 0.13 to hit $69.32 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 4.45 to trade at $2,538.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.43% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.35% to 4.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.70.
